Jamestown, CA...From TCFD..."Yesterday afternoon emergency crews were dispatched to the Grotto, a popular climbing spot on Table Mountain northwest of Jamestown. Apparently a boulder came loose injuring three hikers, one seriously, and two had moderate injuries. CAL FIRE TCU, TCFD, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue, Tuolumne County Ambulance, and PHI Med 4-2 all responded.

Arnold, CA...The Ebbetts Pass Fire District gets ready for water & lake rescues..."Lake Rescue: Recently we took our Zodiac out on Lakemont and trained our crew on lake rescue. They practiced safe Operations of the boat, and rescuing both conscious and unconscious victims from the water."

Arnold, CA...An early-season heat event will impact interior northern California early this week due to high pressure in place over the region. High temperatures will climb above the century mark across much of the Valley and lower foothills today. Expected highs across the Valley and foothills will range from 95 to 110 degrees.
