Angels Camp, CA...(Frogtown, USA)..The Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is excited to announce the headline concert for 2019 is Shooter Jennings. Shooter an amazing artist in his own right is the son of the legendary Waylon Jennings. The show will be Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m. The concert is free with price of admission. Fair tickets go on sale March 1, watch for more information at frogown.org.

Angels Camp, CA...Ladies, Gents, Boys & Girls...The 2019 Calaveras County Fair & Frog Jump Jubilee is underway. The Youth Parade led the way through Historic Downtown Angels Camp. The clouds parted and the sun made an appearance to welcome in the festivities. One interesting thing was the abundance of camera crews with very expensive equipment on hand getting footage in the can. We asked who they were shooting for and there is a Netflix crew in town for this weekend to shoot a documentary on the Frog Jump and what it takes to win. So if Rosie the Ribbiter's record falls it will become part of a Netflix Feature.

San Andreas, CA...In a contest filled with over 70 Frog Jumps Calaveras Supervisor and Board Chair Jack Garamendi hopped away with the title. He said Rosie the Ribbiter's record is destined to be broken at the International Frog Jump Finals on the Main Stage at Frogtown on Sunday. We will have lots of photos & video up later..
