Between the junior varsity and varsity games the homecoming queen contestants rounded the field and stepped out of the jeeps, pickup trucks & classic cars. For this year even a Maserati made a slow parade lap around the track. The 2019-20 homecoming queen is Kinley Apley. The Bret Harte Bullfrogs football team lost Friday's homecoming game against Linden 43-27. The Frogs played well but ended up on the short end of the final score. Give Bubba the Forever Home He Deserves This Week! (Bubba Adopted!!)

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/30/2019 10:50 PM
San Andreas, CA...Meet Bubba, a Labrador retriever mix, estimated to be about a year and a half old. Affectionate and sensitive, Bubba is friendly with both male and female dogs. He is a star ball player, jumping high to retrieve and then releasing on command. When putting on his collar, he will lean up against his kennel gate and rise up on his hind legs to make the process easier for you. Exuberant and strong, Bubba often pulls on a leash and sometimes jumps on people. When scolded, though, he will back down into submission because what this joyful, big boy wants to do more than anything is please. He also chases cats so we would recommend a home without felines. Bubba may be housebroken as he keeps his kennel clean, patiently awaiting his walks and playtime.
