Murphys, Calif., May 23rd, 2020 – Due to the impressive popularity of the first event, Live Like Goose Greif & Trauma Recovery, invites the community to unite and join them for the 2nd Annual Run Like Goose 5K Run/Walk, to be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020, Murphys Community Park. This event gives participants a 5K Run/Walk, featuring rolling hills, sights of pastures and the beautiful vineyards of Ironstone Winery.

Nashville, TN...TEMA FLASH REPORT #4 – Tornado and Severe Weather Event Tuesday, March 03, 2020 | 05:20pm. Updated at 8 p.m., CST, to revise the total storm-related fatalities in Tennessee to 24 confirmed, with 18 confirmed fatalities reported in Putnam County. This follows an update from Putnam County indicating its original report of 19 fatalities to the SEOC included one fatality that was not storm related.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 5" of new snow as of 5am and South winds from 6 to 9mph. Continued snowfall is expected today with another 1-3" possible before the system heads East later this morning. The high looks to be around 28F and winds should increase somewhat into the teens and gusting into the mid 20's or so. Sunday evening looks to clear up and high pressure returns come Monday with slightly above temperatures expected through the week. Copious snow will return, we just have to wait a little longer sometimes........It's a great time to ski/ride don't forget to check out our Lifts and Trails page Daily for projected operations. Murphys, CA...The Thief of Bagdad is a 1924 American silent swashbuckler film directed by Raoul Walsh and starring Douglas Fairbanks, and written by Achmed Abdullah and Lotta Woods. Freely adapted from One Thousand and One Nights, it tells the story of a thief who falls in love with the daughter of the Caliph of Baghdad. The Thief of Bagdad is now widely considered one of the great silent films and Fairbanks's greatest work.
Fairbanks biographer Jeffrey Vance writes, "An epic romantic fantasy-adventure inspired by several of the Arabian Nights tales, The Thief of Bagdad is the greatest artistic triumph of Fairbanks's career. The superb visual design, spectacle, imaginative splendor, and visual effects, along with his bravura performance (leading a cast of literally thousands), all contribute to making this his masterpiece."
