Angels Six Theatre's Marquee Takes Another Blow

Angels Camp, CA...For the second time in as many years the beautiful neon marquee that Angels Six Theatres has lovingly and at great expense restored and maintained over the years has been damaged. Last time it was an auto parts delivery tuck that created the impact. This time the miscreant in a large vehicle is still unknown. So if anyone has any ideas who it might be I am sure the theatre would like to know as it may help them defray some of the costs of the repairs....

On April 8, 2015 the second public meeting for the SR 4 and SR 49 Gateway and Corridor Study was held at Bret Harte Union High School. At the meeting a presentation was given to inform the public of the outcomes from public meeting #1 and reviewed alternatives for land use and transportation improvements in the study area. This survey contains maps and images that were shown at our public meeting. Sonora, CA...Tuolumne County Farm Bureau and Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority joined forces to host an event to bring local businesses together with local agricultural producers. “This goal is to get more local produce into our local marketplace,” Elena Linehan, Executive Director of the Farm Bureau, said. A dozen producers gathered this week to discuss their wares and how they can fulfill the needs for local business. The event was called Product to Buyers and used the “speed dating” approach rather than a trade show set up.
