Three Illegal Marijuana Cultivation Sites Raided on June 22nd |

Mountain Ranch, CA...Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Team Recap June 22 2021. On June 22nd, 2021, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Unit served 3 unrelated search warrants for illegal marijuana cultivation in Mountain Ranch. The first site was located in the 18700 block of Old Greek Mine Road in Mountain Ranch. Deputies seized 242 growing marijuana plants with an estimated value exceeding $169,000. One suspect was contacted at the site and issued a citation.

Tuolumne, CA...Early Sunday Morning, Deputy Hammell was patrolling the area of Tuolumne City. During his patrol, he spotted a vehicle with several equipment violations. Deputy Hammell conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the driver, 20-year-old Colby Hathcoat of Twain Harte.

Sonora, CA...A shout out to Rose Wolf Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center! On Friday, a resident of North Stewart Street called in a baby bird that seemed to be having troubles. Officers arrived and discovered the bird was a baby turkey (or poult). After giving the little feller some water, we called out Rose Wolf Wildlife Rescue, who responded quickly and took the poult for further care.
