Schwarzenegger optimistic about budget session

LIVERMORE, Calif. -- Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says he's confident that he and lawmakers will be able to address California's $11.2 billion budget deficit. The governor has called lawmakers back into session to deal with the hole in this year's budget. He has proposed a 1 1/2-cent sales tax increase and $4.5 billion in spending cuts.
