Suspect Arrested for Domestic Abuse and Arson to Victims Vehicle

Valley Springs, CA...On June 25, 2024, at about 3:10 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Garner Place, Valley Springs, for a report of a vehicle on fire near a residence. Upon arrival, deputies were contacted by a victim at the residence who reported an incident of domestic abuse.

The victim reported the suspect inflicted harm upon the victim’s upper body. Directly after the physical abuse, the victim went to their bedroom to separate from the suspect. The suspect went outside and began vandalizing the victim's vehicle, causing dents and sashing the windows. The victim remained in their bedroom, eventually falling asleep.

The victim was awoken by a citizen advising the victim's vehicle was on fire along with the surrounding grass. The victim exited the residence to await the arrival of the fire department.

The suspect, Francis Xavier Limas, age 40 of Valley Springs, was eventually arrested and transported to the County Jail, where he was booked on charges of domestic violence and arson.

These articles were in mymotherlode last week.
If tpt can't keep up with news in our area, they should leave it out altogether.

Yeah I can be pretty lame 'news' on tpt, this one was even older then the stolen skid.
John maybe you should just go to MyMoterLode and copy theirs instead of posting crime from 2 to 3 weeks old? Just a helpful hint.
