Hey Good People!! Its a Powder Day with 10” of New Snow at the Base and 12” on the Summit!!!!!

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 10″ of new snow has fallen overnight at the base area with 12″ up on the summit!! Continued snowfall will occur through out the day with 1-3″ expected. Winds Will continue to be out f the SSW into the teens with occasional gusting into the 20’s. Cool temps will prevail again tonight with 20F slated for the low and ENE winds into the teens as the system heads East. Thursday will be a partly sunny day with high clouds before another shot of snow returns for Friday through Saturday. Cold air from Alaska will influence this system bringing snow levels down to the 3500′ elevation with an 60-80% chance of 12-18″ of new snow falling during that time. Snow shower activity will linger through Sunday with a bit of drying out Sunday night into Monday with another chance of snow returning for Tuesday.

Conditions on the hill are amazing for quality groomers with the off-piste Pow skiing and riding giving everyone Smiles across the Miles! Our stellar Mountain Ops Teams and snow making efforts have given us the opportunity to continue to add more into the mix to compliment this seasons lite snowfall so far and will the cold temps on the way, they will certainly be able to push out some more volumes of snow to compliment Mother Nature. The Vibe is high here at Bear Valley with a high stoke level across the board and great terrain to enjoy through the Holiday season.

The Bear is Back!

Peace Out,
Mattly
