Calaveras Consolidated Fire on Fatal Traffic Collision that Took the Life of Lilly Butler
Valley Springs, CA...Our Firefighters responded to a tragic vehicle accident this evening that resulted in a fatality. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Lilly Butler. Her father was a former Captain for our Fire District. The Butler family is part of our fire family. We are grieving over this loss and ask everyone to please respect their privacy at this time and keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
More information will be provided as it becomes available.
We deeply appreciate the support from the surrounding Fire Districts, Calfire, Sheriff, CHP, and American Legion Ambulance for your support.

Just couldn't wait - had to go around slower vehicles. Everyone please learn a lesson from this. Prayers for the 17 year old and her family and friends for strength to cope with this tragic loss, and prayers for strength to cope for the 61 year old and family who will live with this for the rest of their lives.
