Mokelumne Hill Man Lost His Life Yesterday in Railroad Flat Road Collision
Mountain Ranch, CA...An Antioch woman was driving a gray Chevrolet Impala and was traveling southbound on Railroad Flat Road approaching Sheep Ranch Road. For an unknown reason, she drove off the roadway. After leaving the roadway, the Chevrolet hit a fence then overturned and impacted a tree. The collision caused extensive damage to the vehicle and both occupants were trapped. After the driver and passenger were removed from the vehicle they were transported by ambulance with major injuries. Unfortunately, the passenger did not survive the collision and passed away at Lodi Memorial Hospital.
It does not appear that drugs and/or alcohol played a role in this collision.
There are no further details available at this time.

Can you imagine that there is a hospital just 15 minutes away in San Andreas?
If I'm in a collision, please take me to the nearest hospital.
Even Mark Twain.

Yes, they have the capability to take care of head trauma - going to Mark Twain would just prolong getting the most appropriate treatment since they would most likely have to call for the medflight anyway..

I still would have taken my chances at Mark Twain instead of a one hour ambulance ride to Lodi.

I would not take my dog to Mark Twain if I had a broken finger. Probably chop my other arm off instead. You must not be from around here.
