Calaveras Community Foundation Calls For Grant Proposals From County Non-Profit Groups
Calaveras County, CA...Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF), the county’s leading philanthropic organization funding a variety of projects from education and health, the arts and history, announced today that 2008 grant proposals from non-profit organizations may now be submitted. The deadline for submissions is October 1, 2008. Grant recipients will be announced in November. ....
The CCF anticipates a 25% increase in available grant funds compared to 2007, but demand for grants traditionally exceeds the available funds. This year, the CCF will consider grant requests in the $500 - $5,000 range.
“The Foundation has had a successful year raising funds”, said Kathy Zancanella, Chair of the CCF grant committee. “We look forward to returning those funds to worthy community projects in Calaveras County”.
