Electra Fire Reaches 40% Containment as Fire Heads Towards Full Containment & Control

Amador & Calaveras Counties, CA...In the interest of relaying the most accurate and up-to-date information to the public, the Electra Incident will begin releasing more frequent updates regarding control and containment lines throughout the day. This will be in addition to the morning and evening updates, which are typically released at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. CONTROLLED: The status of a wildfire suppression action signifying that there is no longer smoke activity or hotspots within the fire perimeter.

CONTAINED: The status of a wildfire suppression action signifying that a control line has been completed around the fire, and any associated spot fires, which can reasonably be expected to stop the fire’s spread.
