Calaveras Sliders Going to the Nationals!
The Calaveras Sliders, 14 and under Girls Softball Team has qualified for the A.S.A. National Softball Tournament in Salem, OR from July 28~August 3rd, 2008. Please help them get there! They will also be holding a fundraiser, Calaveras Sliders Tri-Tip Dinner and Dance on Saturday July 19, social hour, 6 p.m., dinner, 7 p.m. and dancing begins at 8 p.m., Jenny Lind Veterans Memorial Hall, 189 Pine St., Valley Springs, fundraiser to help the Calaveras Sliders 14 and under girls softball team travel to the A.S.A. Western National Softball....
Tournament, several drawings and silent auctions, take-out dinners also available, tickets $20 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and children 6 and under are free by calling Renna Luis, 786-2293 or 256-0617 or Bernice Phelps at 772-0705.
