Services July 25th for Veteran Samuel Scott Perry 1945 - 2018

San Andreas, CA...Samuel Scott Perry, 73, of San Andreas passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2018. A Celebration of Life for Sam, is scheduled for Wednesday July 25th, 10 am at San Andreas Memorial Chapel located at 254 W. St Charles Street, San Andreas California. Reception to follow at Sam and Joan’s home, 445 Oak Place in San Andreas. Sam was born in Turlock, California to Rex and Ruth Perry on June 11th,1945. He was the youngest of eight children. Sam married his wife Joan, September 25th 1982.




Sam was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Navy. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as the Vietnam Vets of America.

Those who were lucky enough to know Sam, knew the love he had for his beautiful wife, Chevrolets, triumph motorcycles, narrow gage railroads and tinkering with anything he could get his hands on.

Sam is survived by his wife, Joan Perry, His son Rex (Joy) Perry. His two step-daughters Joan Sutton and Joyce (Greg) Gremminger-Phillips. His two grandsons and their wives, Paul (Alisha) Sutton and Phillip (Tessa) Sutton. He was also a proud great grandfather to Tanner Sutton, Tucker Sutton, Tommy Sutton, Avery Sutton, Bennet Sutton, Finley Sutton and Adelane Sutton.
