NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT....22 Year Old Male Reported "Missing" at Bear Valley Mountain Resort Today

Bear Valley, CA...22 year old, Jerad Gerlach, from Santa Cruz CA, went missing at 2:30pm this afternoon at the Bear Valley Mountain Resort. Jerad was last seen on Kuala or Bear Boogie Run and has not been seen since. He was supposed to meet up with his friends in the Lodge but never showed up. There has been blizzard and white out conditions up at the resort for most of today...

Jerad is 5' 11" and weighs about 200 lbs, he is a very large built guy. He has blond hair and blue eyes with a tattoo on his neck of the santa cruz redwoods. He has a white Gunu snowboard with lots of stickers and detail. If you have any information about this missing person please contact the Calaveras County Sheriffs or Alpine Sheriffs Department. Or contact family members at 209-736-8025. Our thoughts go to out to this family. There is a search and rescue going on tonight.
