San Andreas Community Covenant Church Seeks Community Support for ‘Christmas for Kids’

San Andreas, CA...The San Andreas Community Covenant Church (SACCC) is seeking community support to provide shoeboxes filled with necessities and additional items for 185 school aged children that attend San Andreas Elementary. “Our church recognizes that this may be the only Christmas gift that some of these children will receive this year,” stated Pastor Kevin Diamond for the SACCC. “Since arriving here almost two years ago, my wife and I have been so impressed by the generosity of this community. Our church felt that we should let others know that we are once again committed to providing love and cheer to these children. One of our community members, who is also an active member of SACCC has recently retired, and “Christmas for Kids’ has been a passion of hers. SACCC is grateful and happy to support Ingrid for her vision and organization of this much needed community outreach. The need is higher this year than in past years, so we wanted to extend the invitation to anyone that can join us in supporting our efforts for Christmas for Kids.”

Participants can purchase the following (cash donations are also appreciated if you wish not to shop) if so moved to help out:

About San Andreas Community Covenant Church
San Andreas Community Covenant Church has been a part of the life of San Andreas and Calaveras County since the 1860’s. We are your neighbors and friends who live, work and play in Calaveras County. We are a member of a larger family of churches known as the Evangelical Covenant Church (http://www.covchurch.org/) with six sister churches right here in Calaveras County. We are committed to discovering and living out the vision of Ephesians 4, “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.” For more information, please visit our website at https://saccc.net. San Andreas Community Covenant Church is also on Facebook. For further details please contact: Ingrid Hjelmervik ihjelmervik@comcast.net S.A. Community Covenant Church Office # (209) 754-3881
