You might call it the “off” season, but it’s a fantastic time to explore some of the lesser known aspects of New Melones Lake and its environs. This month, take advantage of the following interpretive and recreational programs: All activities are free of charge, and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Please contact Park Ranger Mike McGraw at 209-536-9094 ext. 233 for more information on specific events.
