Aquatic Therapy & Therapeutic Aftercare are being offered by Pinnacle Physical Therapy on Monday & Wednesday From 4 until 6 pm starting June 9 at Bret Harte Aquatic Center. Most insurance will cover aqua therapy. Call Dulcie at 209-736-0956 for more details or to set an appointment.

Persons with the following conditions will find aquatic therapy very beneficial: Sedentary Lifestyle - Arthritis - Diabetes - Joint Limitations - Pulmonary Disease - Athletic Injuries - Cardiac Disease - Unsteadiness - Balance Deficits - Obesity - Low Back Problems - Physical Impairment

The program includes thorough instruction and documentation. Therapeutic intervention done in the water is provided as an alternative to traditional physical therapy in the clinic. It may be billed to medical insurance or offered for cash payment at aquatic rates.

The boyancy of water provides a unique resistance to muscles and joints. Exercise in water can be adjusted to maximize benefits without causing stress to joints or soft tissue. Water is the perfect medium for working muscles without strain or injury.

The Aquatic Aftercare is an independent aquatic exercise program offered to past aquatic therapy patients who wish to continue their aquatic exercises with the supervision of our staff.
