The Murphys Hotel 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off
Murphys, CA....I’m inviting you to participate in our 7th Annual Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off held February 2nd 2014! First I would like to Thank Everyone who has Cooked, Tasted, & Donated in the past. Without you this event wouldn’t be possible!!! As you know or may not know, All Money Raised is donated to Hospice of Amador and Calaveras & All Food Raised is donated to The Resource Connection Food Bank Last year we raised $1,120.00 for Hospice & About 300lbs of Food for The Resource Connection...
The Judges Champion was Team “Flach Inc.”
The People’s Choice Winners were
1st “Chili Burns Out” (Tanner Vineyards)
2nd “The V Restaurant”
3rd “Just One More Bite”
Best Theme “Rebelicious”
In 2013 our Numbers were down with only 18 Teams
And 92 Tasters, yet we still raised more money than years past!
Note: (I Personally Blame The San Francisco 49ers for that. So Hopefully The 49ers don’t make it to The Big Game this Year!)
Now for my Challenge to You!
This is the 7th Annual Fundraiser that I hope you all can attend! I will be cooking Chili again this year with hopes of losing again to all of your Great Chili!
Note: (I’m a Raiders Fan so losing is accepted)
This Event is to Benefit a Great Cause but was also created to bring our wonderful community together. I am proud to live in and be a part of Murphys the Town and Calaveras County! This is a day we can all have fun, smile & laugh together while raising money and food for 2 of our most important organizations in Calaveras County!
I have Great Hope that this Year 2014
will be the Best yet, with a little help from each of you!
