Murphys, CA...Save the Date - Murphys will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos on Saturday, November 2nd this year with traditional decorations, food, entertainment, Catrin/Catrina Contest, candle light procession to the cemetery and more. Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays in Murphys - Local Food Tours - Join Murphys Food and Wine Tours every Tuesday,
Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 2:30 pm. Each tour covers 1.5 miles of walking along historic Main Street in
Murphys and the surrounding streets. Tickets for the Murphys Food and Wine Tour can be purchased online by
visiting Local-Food-Tours.com or by calling 800-407-8918 directly. Private group tours are available by appointment.

Summer Evenings at Hovey Winery - Hovey Winery will be open Friday and Saturday evenings until 7 p.m. (or
longer) starting June 14 through the summer. Please come and linger longer with a glass of wine on the porch or in

Fridays at Alchemy - Matt Cullen Delivers style with pop, country and jazz vocal performances every Friday on

Fridays & Saturday in Murphys- Zucca After Hours Wine Bar -Friday and
Saturday nights, our garden will be open from 5-8 pm for Wine Bar service “al’Italiano”.
Pick your favorite seat and enjoy our wines by the glass and a small bread plate.

Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are
available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am
leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to
confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.

August 2, 2013 - First Fridays in the Park - Free live entertainment from 5:30 to 8 pm. Dinner, local wine and
beverages for sale. Food is limited so come early. Music by Plan B and food by Sierra Hills Market. Bring your
blanket or low back chairs and enjoy the music in our lovely park by the creek.
August 2, 2013 - Melissa Etheridge at Ironstone - 8:00 pm in the beautiful Ironstone Amphitheater. Visit

August 3, 2013 - Murphys Firefighters Association's 4th Annual Luau Style
Dinner at Twisted Oak Winery - Starting at 7 pm there will be live music with the
Iconics as well as live and silent auctions. Tickets are available at Murphys Fire Station
#1, 37 Jones Street, Monday thru Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM or by calling 209-728-3864. All
donations and proceeds assist in outfitting the volunteer firefighters with equipment
needed to protect our communities.

August 3, 2013 - Book Reading & Signing at Sustenance Books - Bret Harte
graduate Traci Chee will be reading from and signing her book, Consonant Sounds for
Fish Songs, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Saturday. The stories deal with the human themes of
love, death, God and the like with fish and music weaving the reader through the topics
in magical ways. Wine and hors d'oeurves will be served. Artwork inspired by the
collection will be on display.

August 3, 2013 - Milliaire Winery Patio Party - Join us Saturday at 6 pm for Steve Millier’s Famous BBQ! Relax
on our back patio and enjoy a delicious meal featuring your favorite winemaker’s delicious BBQ and dance the

August 4, 2013 - Blacksmithing Classes at Quyle Forge - 9:00 am – 3:00 pm - Join Tm Mann and the
California Blacksmith Association on the first Sunday of every month for 5 months beginning July 7th for
