The Blues and Bones Festival
Angels Camp, CA... Got a hankerin’ for savory, slow-cooked BBQ goodness? Do you enjoy dancing to the soulful sounds of the Blues? Want to be the judge for a BBQ contest? If so, the Blues and Bones Festival is the experience for you! Combining the best BBQ and Blues music in the west, this festival is not to be missed....
Once inside the festival, you can sample some of the best BBQ offerings in the west from the teams competing for championship status and $500 in prizes. The Calaveras County Foothills will be echoing from the sounds of live Music, featuring some of the areas Hottest Blues Bands. You won't want to miss performances by Daniel Castro, Jeramy Norris and John Lee Hooker Jr, and more! This is a family-friendly event, sure to become one of your family's summer traditions.
The Blues and Bones Festival is located at the Calaveras County Fair Grounds in Angels Camp, California.
• Five bands and featuring: John Lee Hooker Jr.
• Saturday July 27, 2013. Gates open at 12:00 and music starts at A 12:30.
• Admission is $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the gate.
• Children under 12 are free. Children’s area has a water slide and bounce house.
• People’s Choice BBQ competition with $3 dollars samples as well as full menu offerings.
• Come chill out in the misting area or just soak your feet in our lazy river.
