Clyde H. Seeman - 1935-2013
Angels Camp, CA... Angels Camp resident Clyde H. Seeman passed away on June 14. Clyde was born on January 4, 1935 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Stockton to the late Delbert and Edna Seeman. A second generation Calaveras county resident, Clyde and his late brother Robert grew up on the family ranch in Railroad Flat....
After graduating from Calaveras High School, he began his 34-year career as a laboratory technician for Calaveras Cement where a mutual friend introduced him to his wife of 45 years, Roberta Beltramo of Angels Camp. After the plant’s closure, Clyde finished out his career as an assayer for the Carson Hill and Jamestown Mines. An avid sportsman, Clyde enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends and family; as well as, playing cards with his buddies at La Contenta, and traveling on the coast. He was a member of the Angels Gun Club and the Native Sons of the Golden West. Clyde is survived by his wife Roberta, and his daughters Sherri Walker of Salinas and Cindy Graves of Modesto; sister-in-laws Marie Seeman, Sharon Crespi and Chrisalee Hendrick; brother-in-laws Robert Crespi and Ivan Hendrick; his grandchildren Tiffany, Jeannette, and Melissa; great-grandchildren Abrienna, Natalie, Chris Jr., Derek, and Jason; plus many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Angels Memorial Chapel, Angels Camp CA. Services: Mass of Christian burial Monday June 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Angels Camp CA. Internment Monday June 24, 2013 at the Historic Serbian Cemetery, Altaville CA. Reception to follow at the Angels Gun Club, Angels Camp.
