Angels Camp, CA...Born in Spokane Washington to S.V. Fullaway, Jr. and Norma Fullaway and raised in Portland, Oregon . Wilbur attended Oregon State, and then joined the U.S. Army in 1943. He served in Europe during WWII, earned the rank of Sergeant. He was wounded and received the Purple Heart Medal...

He married Louise Brashier on November 4, 1950 and made their home in Stockton, California. Wilbur and Louise were very active in their church, the First Presbyterian, where he served as a Deacon and taught Sunday school. He was also volunteered with the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Boy Scouts of America.

After the war, Will followed in his father’s footsteps and began working in the lumber industry. He worked as a salesman for American Forest Products for 27 years in the Northern California.

In 1976, Will and Louise purchased Calaveras Lumber, a small lumberyard in Angels Camp. The small, family-run business grew and expanded under his leadership. While he lived and worked in Calaveras County, he served on the Calaveras County Fair Board, the Mark Twain Hospital Foundation Board, and the Central Sierra Bank Board of Directors. He was a member of the Angels-Murphys Rotary Club and Sierra Bible Church in Murphys. Will loved life and loved people. He was an avid golfer who shot a hole-in-one on the 13th hole at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp.

He was a devoted Christian who entrusted his life and his business to God. As a devoted Christian, he gave of himself and served his church and his community.

Will leaves behind Louise Fullaway, his wife of 63 years, daughter Mary (Paul) Jacobson, son Mike (Diane) Fullaway, grandchildren Josh Fullaway, Jodie (Jason) Brixey, two great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life on May 30th at the Foothill Community Church in Angels Camp. Time to be announced.
