Bullfrog Alum Wrestles 2-1 at La Cross Duals
La Crosse, Wi...On Saturday, December, 1, 2012 Former Bullfrog Devin Nanik (Class of 2011) made his first appearance on the Saint John’s Wrestling roster (varsity squad) at the La Crosse Duals. The Johnnies finished the day 1-3. Nanik split the duties at the 165lbs division with Junior Nick Schuler. In his first match of the day, Nanik defeated Matt Koch of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a major decision of 10-2. Nanik was defeated by Colin Bertucci of Cornell of Iowa in his second match 4-1...
As a sophomore breaking into the Johnnies lineup, Nanik was placed in an exhibition match for his second win of the day defeating his opponent 10-4.
Nanik is now 5-2 on the season.
