Calaveras Community Foundation Supports Studio 4 Dance Theater’s 2012 Production of “The Nutcracker”
Angels Camp, CA....The Calaveras Community Foundation has stepped up to support local dance company Studio 4 Dance Theater with a $1,000 grant for the 2012 production of “The Nutcracker.” This year’s performances will take place December 13-15 at the Bret Harte Theater in Angels Camp; tickets will go on sale November 8 at 10am...
“We are thrilled to have earned the support of the Calaveras Community Foundation,” said Tammie Lee, Studio 4 Dance Theater artistic director. “We are a relatively new nonprofit in Calaveras, and are honored to be recognized by CCF. We look forward to delivering another fantastic production for them and for all of our wonderful sponsors.”
Studio 4 Dance Theater is located in Vallecito and has been presenting ballet performances locally for the last eight years. Students include children and adults from Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. Each year, “The Nutcracker” features more than 50 dancers and dozens of community members working backstage, ushering and managing concessions. Local businesses and individuals sponsor the production or showcase their support by advertising in the printed program.
