In Loving Memory of Vincent Floyd Grimes, 1954~2012

Arnold, CA....Mr. Vincent Floyd Grimes passed away on March 3, 2012 in his own home located in Arnold, California due to his battle with cancer. He was born on March 27, 1954 in San Mateo and was raised in the bay where he made a living working in the roofing industry. Twenty-five years ago his family moved to Arnold where he spent time enjoying fishing, working outside in the yard, watching football, Westerns, divulging in a bowl of ice-cream, and the love of his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Grimes of Arnold and his children, Vincent Grimes of Arnold, Joshua Grimes of Arnold, Breanna Grimes of Arnold and soon to be son in law Justin Ribeira of Angels Camp, and Sunny Pollock of Oklahoma; his brother Perry Hallman of Southern California and step brothers Curtis, Jeff and Donnie of the San Jose area; his sisters, Marian Darby of Gonzalez, Deborah Jean Grimes of Grass Valley, Faith Fennelly of Manteca, Mary Jane Welch of Oroville, Alice Flores of Laytonville, Frances Blake of Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Kitty Sue Hurdle. Private services will be held at a later date as requested by Vince. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
