Another special feature of this event is the expanded presence of many community service organizations offering a unique opportunity to discover how your life expands exponentially when you link what you care about to an organization who shares that vision.
The first Green Awards Dinner on Saturday evening, April 30th, will highlight the weekend with a delicious local seasonal organic menu, silent auction and raffle of exceptional green prizes for sustaining your well-being, with time to meet and enjoy a community conversation to seed ideas and actions with lively, good-hearted, people committed to a vibrant future in the foothills.
According to event coordinator, Johanna Atman, “This is an extremely exciting opportunity for our two foothill counties to come together and celebrate the gifts our area offers and to share knowledge and have fun together with a focus on sustainability and healthy living.” She continued, “ We have amazing human and natural resources right here and FoCuS is proud to bring together information, resources, sources for products and services, and connections with others in empowering relationships that contribute to building a sustainable community.”
We hope everyone will plan to take a little time to come by and experience “Sierra Green Days” this year.”
