Junior Fair Board Applications Are Due Soon
Angels Camp, CA....The 2011 Calaveras County Fair Junior Fair Board Applications, which are available at the high schools, the Fairground office, or online will be due by March 14 at 5:00 p.m. Applications must be in the office by the 14th; postmarks will not be accepted. The Junior Fair Board offers both scholarship and interpersonal learning opportunities to local high school students. New to the 2011 applicants are an increase in required cumulative GPA and a mandatory orientation and interview session on Saturday, April 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Scholarship applications for high school seniors are also .....

available at the Fairground Office. Junior Fair Board Seniors receive a plaque and special recognition at the Fair Press Dinner. All Junior Fair Board members receive an official JFB tee-shirt, staff credential lanyard, which is good for gate entrance and parking all four days, two additional single-day admission passes and a discount on the carnival tickets.
