Bear Valley Snow Report for January 31, 2011. 10 Inches of New Snow from Latest Storm
Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! The current storm brought us 10″ of new snow! A cold shot of air behind it will give us some low temps in the mid teens the next few days. Sunshine will be back today and through the week with a significant change at the end of next week. Pay attention to the down stream effect off of the Aleutions! La Nina patterns are often highlighted by intense stormy periods with long breaks in between, Winter will be back! The Avalanche advisory is 3considerable, check the forecast at sierraavalanchecenter.org for more on that and ride safe and responsible!!! Peace Out, Mattly The Grizz Bowl will open today after avalanche mitigation measures are taken.
