In Loving Memory of Lonnie McCraney December 12, 1951~May 20, 2010

Valley Springs, CA....Lonnie McCraney was born December 12, 1951 and was layed to rest on May 20, 2010. Originally from Los Angeles, he settled in Valley Springs In 1958 with his family. Mother Addie McCraney,father Lawrence McCraney, brothers and sisters, Carrie West, Linda McCraney, Danny McCraney, David McCraney, Tim McCraney, and Beckie McCraney. Lonnie was widowed by beautiful and loving Lynn Aubrey (McCraney). Lonnie also had to beloved daughters Nikki Hoskins and Tasha Ballew. His grandchildren who were the light of his life, Sierra Stackpole, Garrett Hoskins, Aubrey Ballew, and another grandson due to arrive in September....


Lonnie was well known in the community. The brawny man with the big black hat who was such a kind and gentle loving spirit. He has many friends who enjoyed listening to his wonderful talented voice sing his music. Lonnie is a multi-skilled man whos favorite hobby was to rebuild antique stoves with his lifetime friend Richard Lenfesty.

He will always be forever loved and respected by all who have been fortunate enough to have Lonnie touch their lives. Services will be held in honor of Lonnie McCraney at the Calvary Chapel 81 Hwy 12 Valley Springs (entrance of California st) with a pot luck reception at the Veterans Hall 189 Pine St Valley Springs
