Frogtown, CA....The Calaveras beauties were out in full force on Friday eve at the lovely Coronation Ball 2010. The young ladies who are running for Miss Calaveras or Saddle Queen joined Miss Calaveras 2009, Kayla Smith and, Saddle Queen 2009, Catheryn Gulizia, and their respective courts as the featured guests at this years Coronation Ball. Those ladies who once held the title of Miss Calaveras, Belle of the Camp or Saddle Queen have again been invited. Hosted by the Friends of the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee, the Coronation Ball is an annual fundraiser for scholarship programs .....

associated with the Fair. The Angels-Murphys Rotary, long a dedicated sponsor of the Miss Calaveras Scholarship Pageant, again manned the no-host bar. The evening ncluded a buffet dinner. Sound Extreme provided the music and there was dancing to Big Band, Swing, Rock and Roll, and Country Western to name a few. The public was invited to attend. Tickets purchased from this year’s Miss Calaveras and Saddle Queen contestants who will be doing their part to recreate a link with our history.
