Media Night @ Frogtown 2010...Updated with Full Video
Frogtown, CA...Media Night for those of us in the local media who cover The Calaveras County Faire & Frog Jumping Jubilee is the true start of Fair Season. It was an honor to be invited to attend this celebration gala of all things Frog Jump related. There were awards to sponsors, fair board members, friends of the fair and other community members who keep the local institution running year after year. It is also an opportunity for all of the Saddle Queen & Miss Calaveras contestants to display their public speaking skills and poise. Mascots were featured, Mark Twain's likeness took various forms and more...

It was a great night and the only thing that was missing was the "Hazing Process" where all of the contestants have to kiss a few live frogs as the price of admission in the contests.
