NEW Horseback Riding Adventures at Moaning Cavern Adventure Park!
Vallecito, CA...For the last 2 years, Horse and Barrel has taken hundreds of happy customers on horseback trails in the area, and has now teamed up with Moaning Cavern to create a new addition to the already exciting Moaning Cavern adventure portfolio....
Join us for a 1-1/2 to 2-hour horse trail ride through the park in some of the most rugged and awe insipiring terrain around with breathtaking views of the Sierra Foothills. You will learn some basic commands before your ride, then just sit back and enjoy the views on well trained horses who know their job.

Although reservations are not required, we do recommend that you book your horseback riding adventure so that you know you are scheduled for a particular time, and won't have to wait until an availability arises. Call toll free 866-762-2837 to make your reservation. Walk-ins are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arrive half an hour before your trip time. Check in at the visitor center. Make sure to wear long pants and either boots or closed toed shoes and bring an extra layer of clothing and/or rain jacket, sunglasses and sunscreen. Helmets are provided and are recommended, especially for all those under age 18. You don't need any horse experience. An expert guide will ride with your group and can answer any questions you may have.
