Space Still Available in Cross-Country Ski Class
Columbia, CA....Space is still available in the cross-country ski class offered by the Columbia College Community Education Program. Students will receive eight weeks of instruction and practice at Bear Valley Cross-Country, equipment rentals and bus transportation for the $250 course fee. A mandatory orientation session is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15 at 6:00 p.m. on the college campus in the Manzanita 18-1 classroom....
Classes are scheduled to meet on Thursdays, Jan. 22 through Mar. 12. The bus will leave the Columbia State Historic Park parking lot behind the Fallon Theatre at 8:00 a.m. and travel to Murphys and Arnold to pick up other enrolled students. Estimated time of return to Columbia is 4:30 p.m.
Interested persons can register in person at the college campus in Sonora and at the Calaveras Center in Angels Camp (call 736-5941 for hours). In addition, students can register by mail, fax or online at www.gocolumbia.edu (click on Community Education).
