March 16th Pressure Canning Class by UCCE Master Food Preservers of Amador/Calaveras Counties
Jackson, CA...Join UCCE Master Food Preservers on Saturday, March 16th, and we’ll show you how a pressure canner works. Build your confidence in pressure canning by watching the entire process. Learn the multiple safety features included on every modern canner and compare a variety of canner types. Do you know when you need to use a pressure canner and why? Don’t risk a case of botulism because you didn’t practice safe canning.
This in-person class takes place from 9am to 12noon at the Amador County GSA Building, 12200B Airport Road in Jackson. Cost is $5 payable at the door by cash/check to UC Regents. Pre-registration is recommended. Please register at https://ucanr.edu/uccemfpclassmarch162024
