San Andreas, CA...On Friday, September 20, 2024, the 2024 Road Resurfacing and Paving Program will continue in the communities of San Andreas and Valley Springs. Microsurface application will begin on Friday, September 20, 2024, and continue through Monday, September 23, 2024, on the following roads in CSA 1 (Valley Springs): Bergsma Lane, Brooks Road, Crail Way, Friedman Way, McNeil Way, Nall Street, O’Rielly Street, Pollock Street, Roberts Road, Stabulis Road and Westhill Road.

Dorrington, CA...Please be advised that there will be traffic delays and a full road closure from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on Choctaw Way from Monday, September 16, 2024, through Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Maintenance operations will start on the south end of Choctaw Drive at Yuroc Drive and move north towards Cheyenne Way.

Avery, CA...Please be advised that Moran Road will be closed to thru traffic from State Route 4 to Avery Hotel Road on Thursday, September 11, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm for paving and roadway reconstruction. During construction operations, traffic lanes will be closed, however, flaggers will be on site to keep delays at a minimum. There will be limited access, so please plan your route accordingly. We ask that you follow all instructions provided by on site personnel to ensure everyone’s safety.

Rail Road Flat, CA...(Update as of 6:44pm...Tankers have been released and fire has been mapped at 12.2 acres. Great work firefighters!! lots of work left to be done but as you can tell from the latest photo where there is no smoke there probably is no fire.) (Update as of 5:25pm...Air Attack says they have retardant around a good portion of the fire and fire remains in the 5-10 acre range. Additional radio traffic says they are setting up hard road closures in the fire area) (Update...Air attack now overhead and says fire has potential for 20 acres or so unless it gets established in drainage. Two additional air tankers and other ground assets ordered.) Firefighters are working at last report the 5 acre Silver Fire. Cameras are showing smoke output. Air and ground assets are arriving now.

Arnold, CA...Beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and continuing through late-September there will be road improvements and traffic delays throughout the community of Arnold. Road resurfacing and paving activities will take place on Moran Road, Calaveritas Road, Lightning Lane and Mustang Road. Traffic lanes along the roadways will be affected with use of flaggers and warning devices. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution in the area. Crews will be active during daylight hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
