Fire Update....Vegetation Fire near Hwy 26 and Paloma Road.... 30% CONTAINED
Paloma, CA...Those on scene are reporting 15 acres with a moderate rate of spread. The fire is burning in heavy fuels on the north side of the road... Update addition crews are still inbound innound including engines and hand crews from Amador. Update as of 6:54pm. Air attack is now overhead. Status update...fire is 10-15 acres so as of the last update it sounds as if the they are slowing it down a bit...Update as of 7:50pm....Lisa Williams from Cal Fire said the fire is 20 to 25 acres and there 12 engines, 4 hand crews, air craft and additional crews on scene. As of her call they were releasing tankers. Fire is now 30% CONTAINED.
