Flowers for All Seasons & Vertical Gardening Class on April 4
Jackson, CA...“Flowers for All Seasons & Vertical Gardening” class on April 4, 2020. Interested in color year-round in your garden or perhaps you have a wall or fence that needs some pizzazz? If so, this is the class for you. Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for their free Public Education class, “Flowers for All Seasons & Vertical Gardening” on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Learn about year-round color and vertical hanging garden ideas from Master Gardeners Sandy Hendricks, Frances Levien, and Deborah Millhollin. Handouts will be provided. This class is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. All classes are held in the GSA Building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9 a.m. until Noon.

Kids' Easter Party
Children, age 10 and younger, can play games, make crafts, have their face painted and meet the Easter Bunny, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 4, at Ebbetts Pass Moose Lodge, 1965 Blagen Road, White Pines (near Arnold).
The free family event will also feature an 11:30 a.m. outdoor Easter egg hunt (weather permitting), a 12 noon drawing for children to possibly win a scooter or a Big Wheel trike, and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny. Admission is free.
“Our Moose lodge children’s Easter Party is a community favorite for kids and their parents each spring. The Moose is an international organization, whose primary mission is aiding children in need, seniors and the communities in which they live,” said Damon Bortz, lodge governor.

Enjoy A Unique Mountain Dining Experience at The Meadow Cafe
Bear Valley, CA...In the winter we open the Meadow Cafe located 350 yards from the trailhead. Skiers, snowshoers, and pedestrians access the cafe on groomed trails and enjoy “alpine cuisine” on the deck or cozy indoor seating. New for the 2019/2020 winter season, a special Après-Ski menu is served Thursday through Saturday from 3:30-6:30pm.
