Phillip "Phil" Shelley Sr. 1960 ~ 2024

Valley Springs, CA...Phillip "Phil" Shelley Sr. April 8, 1960 ~ April 12, 2024 (age 64).  Phillip Ray Shelley Sr., 64, passed on into the loving arms of the Lord on April 12, 2024, surrounded by his family.  Phillip was a resident of Valley Springs, CA and lived in Calaveras County for 40 years. He was a husband to Cheryl Kaye Shelley 65, the Love of his Life and married for 44 years.




Phillip is proceeded in death by his Mother-In-Law Mae Catherine Watkins of Valley Springs. He leaves behind his wife Cheryl Shelley of Valley Springs, his children Crystal (Danny) Young of San Andreas, CA and Phillip Shelley Jr. of Valley Springs, CA. His grandchildren, Danny Young III (18 years), Caleb Young (16 years), and Adam Young (10 years) of San Andreas, along with his Father-In-Law Frank Watkins of Valley Springs, Brother-In-Law Steve Watkins, and Sister-In-Law Truley Roberts of Valley Springs.

Phillip worked for Gospel Center Rescue Mission in Stockton, CA for 20 years. He attended and was a member of Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church of San Andreas, CA.

Pastor David Russell will officiate the Graveside Service to be held at Peoples Cemetery of San Andreas, CA on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at 3:30pm.

"Phillip is so very loved and will be so very missed."
