Suspect Arrested for Possession of Drugs for Sale

Valley Springs, CA...On January 20th, at approximately 0900 hours, a Calaveras County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic enforcement stop on Highway 12 near Valley Springs for an equipment violation.

Upon contacting the driver, Michael L Zumkeller, age 43, from Jenny Lind, the deputy recognized him as being on probation. The deputy conducted a search of the vehicle to ensure Zumkeller was adhering to the terms of his probation. During the search, the deputy located suspected methamphetamine, a glass smoking pipe, and a digital scale. In total, 31.9 grams of methamphetamine were located. For reference, a single packet of table sugar at most restaurants is 1 gram.

Suspect Zumkeller was placed under arrest, and his probation was revoked. He was transported to the Calaveras County Jail where he was booked on felony charges.

    Gee Clem, where you been?
Used cars are more expensive than they've ever been. Buying a new car, if you have a steady jobs, makes a lot of sense.
Or do you have problems making a lot of cents?
