November 8, 2022 Election Information

San Andreas, CA... November 8, 2022, General Election. All voters were mailed a ballot for the upcoming November 8, 2022, General Election.  You may track the status of your ballot by registering for BallotTrax.  Sign-up at WheresMyBallot.sos.ca.gov to receive an automatic email, SMS (text), or voice call notifications about your ballot.

IMPORTANT NOTE: there was a clerical error on the Impartial Analysis for Measure A in the Voter Information Guide. Measure A requires a majority (50%+1) vote of the voters to pass, not a 2/3’s super majority as listed in the Impartial Analysis.

You can visit any vote center to request a ballot, register to vote, update your registration, receive voting assistance, or vote using accessible voting equipment. A complete list of voting locations and ballot drop boxes may be found by going to the County Elections webpage and selecting the Polls icon.

When returning your ballot, no postage is necessary. You may return by mail or to one of the official drop boxes located throughout the county. Ballots must be postmarked by November 8th and received by November 15th. All mail-in ballots must be placed in the yellow return envelope and signed to be counted.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the voting process, call or e-mail the Elections Office at (209) 754-6376 or electionsweb@co.calaveras.ca.us.
