Mary Ann Pons 1937 - 2015

Valley Springs, CA...Mary Ann Pons, Born July 23, L937, in southern California to older parents, Wynn A. and Gladys Evelyn Van Osdel. Her last residence was Valley Springs, where she passed away in her home December 20th, 2015 from natural causes. She was a graduate from University of San Francisco with a BS in Organizational Behavior. She retired after thirty faithful years with Pacific Bell Telephone Company where she was a customer service representative. Her hobbies included gardening, camping, movies, reading, music and traveling. She was a dedicated volunteer for several years at the Humane Society in Calaveras County, because she loved animals so much....

Mary is survived by her beloved children, daughter Jennifer Lee and husband Tim, son Dave and his wife Jennifer and their daughter Camille, Mary's only grandchild. Mary is also survived by her younger sister. Eunice and Eunice's children Charlie, Brett, and Susie. Over the last several years, Susie and her family
became close to her Aunt Mary because they all shared similar interest in travel, food, movies, theater, and music and lived the closest to her.

There will be a Celebration of Mary's Life, January 3L,20L6 at La Contenta Golf Course's Vista Grill Restaurint, Valley Springs, Ca, at 2:30pm. We hope that her friends can join us.
