It's Official...A New Era For Downtown Angels Camp's Utica Hotel
Angels Camp, CA...Ownership of the historic art deco gem that is the Utica Hotel in Historic Downtown Angels has changed and escrow has closed. The new owners plan to keep the property as a hotel, saloon, restaurant, banquet facility and retail complex. Many of the dreams that have been brougt fourth over many years may see the light of day under the ownership of Pero & Mary Ann Margaretic. Longterm plans may even include a third floor of rooms. This is great news for Angels Camp and our entire area...
The entire Angels Camp business community has waited, planned and hoped for another chapter for the Utica. That chapter is about to be written.
