Long Term Traffic Delays On Hwy 12 Mokelumne River Bridge
Sacramento/San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform long-term, one-way traffic control via traffic signal on State Route (SR-12) at the Mokelumne River Bridge. One-way traffic control will be in effect beginning Monday, March 9, 2015, through Friday, May 29, 2015. Motorists should expect 15 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible...
The traffic control is part of the Mokelumne River Bridge Project, which is reconstructing the
bridge deck and the rehabilitation of the control house. The $6.8 million project is expected to be completed November 2015.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.
For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Slow for the Cone Zone.
