The Calaveras Humane Society's "Featured Pet's" For The Week!
Here are the Calaveras County Humane Society's Featured Pets of the week. They have a puppy named "Sasha." "I wanna be huddled and cuddled as close to you as I can get!" Just like the song says...
Simply Irresistible", that's our 6 month old little girl Sasha! One look into those warm amber eyes, and you will be head over heels in love, too. Sasha is intelligent and is quickly learning how to be a good family member in her foster home. She is not nippy or mouthy like so many puppies, and she has the puppy exuberance that will keep you smiling and laughing. She loves her long walks and likes to jump into the river to cool off. She is well on her way to being house trained. Sasha is so warm and affectionate as she lovingly puts her paw on your arm or lap to get your attention. If you want a puppy who will love you unconditionally, don't miss out on the chance to adopt gentle Sasha. She is waiting to meet you!
Please contact Sasha's foster home parents Tom & Kitty Haspell at (209) 296-5040.
2) Barn Cats: "Loverly"
Loverly is a beautiful 6 year old spayed female who is quite shy, but does enjoy light petting. She has been homeless since last October and all she wants is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air. A little kindness and good food instead of chocolates would be greatly appreciated by this loverly cat.
Please contact Loverly's foster home mother Ivy Morrow at (209) 754-1212.
Windy WowWow:
Windy WowWow is extremely talkative and friendly. He does not like other cats, but during his stay in foster care, he has been eased into the company of several different cats without incident. However, once let outside, he chased another cat up a tree. He might prefer to be the only cat on his turf and he might be one to keep strangers away. He would make a great pet, or barn cat for someone who wants just one cat!
Please contact Windy WowWow's foster home mother Ivy Morrow at (209) 754-1212.
3) Kittens: Bella and Sophia
These two kittens are looking for a home and didn't find one at Saturday's Adopt-a-Pet in Arnold. One is a pale gray striped tabby and the other is a medium haired darker gray with pale orange paws. They are very social, very active and extremely loving. Bella is on the right and Sophia on the left. They are 9 week old, female, sisters who are spayed and current on vaccinations. They were raised with their mother for 7 weeks in one of our foster homes. They are wonderful kittens and we would love for them to go to a home together, but separately is fine too.
Please contact Loverly's foster home mother Shari Webb (209) 795-6424.
