March 19th ~ Ride & Walk4Art
San Andreas, CA...Ride & Walk4Art is a fundraiser for arts in education. The Calaveras Arts Council strives to support art in education and to bring performers and artists to local schools.
Bike Tour:
The bike tour travels the gentle rolling hills of Calaveras County along Pool Station Road. Rest stops will be stocked with a variety of fruit, snacks and drinks, and bikers will find mechanical assistance at the rest stop. Friendly on-the-road support will be available.
Walking Tour:
Walkers will follow a 1-mile route through Turner Park in San Andreas.
Lunch:
Hungry participants will enjoy a catered BBQ Chicken-in-the-Barrel lunch to the tunes of singer/songwriter Nate Nathan.
Art Show:
An art show with biking and walking-themed art will feature work by local artists: paintings, jewelry and sculpture will be for sale. Proceeds to benefit Arts In Education Programs in Calaveras County Schools.
Registration:
$25 Bicyclists/$15 Walkers.

"The Mouse Trap," An Agatha Christie Murder Mystery
West Point, CA...TICKETS NOW ON SALE!! Blue Mountain Theater presents this Agatha Christie Murder mystery. Opening night Gala is Friday March 17th, doors at 6:30, showtime at 7:30 continuing for three weekends, Friday and Saturday nights. There will also be two special Sunday Matinees, March 19th and 26th at 2:00 pm.
