Emigrant Wilderness Place Names
Michael Shea has spent years backpacking in the Emigrant Wilderness, visiting most of the lakes, meadows, mountains, streams, and passes. In his new book "Emigrant Wilderness Place Names" Michael answers the questions: when were they named, why were they named that, and who were they named after? His list of acknowledgements of local names of people interviewed during the research of information is extensive. This program is a must for anyone who is interested in our History and the Emigrant Wilderness.
