Sonora, CA...As hunters take to the forest on the quest for that elusive buck, the Stanislaus National Forest would like to remind everyone that fire restrictions still exist in both Moderate and High Hazard Fire areas.

Microsurface application will begin on Friday, September 20, 2024, and continue through Monday, September 23, 2024, on the following roads in CSA 1 (Valley Springs): Bergsma Lane, Brooks Road, Crail Way, Friedman Way, McNeil Way, Nall Street, O’Rielly Street, Pollock Street, Roberts Road, Stabulis Road and Westhill Road.
