Jones and California Republican Party Chairwoman Jessica Millan Patterson welcomed Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil to the Senate Republican Caucus and the California Republican Party as she announced her departure from the Senate Democratic Caucus and her change in party affiliation.

A lifelong resident of Murphys, Jimmy's life was a testament to his deep roots and commitment to his community and his friends. Known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering loyalty, he touched the lives of many who had the pleasure of knowing him.
